Die Alpen. Eine liebliche Idylle, geprägt von grünen Wiesen und bärtigen Bergsteigern. Nun leider stehen wir nicht besonders auf Klischees und Schubladendenken...
Zum siebten mal findet in diesem Jahr in der Matscher Au bei Schlanders das gleichnamige Open Air statt. 
Das Besondere dabei ist der außergewöhnliche Hintergrund des Festivals. Ein musikalisches Event von Jugendlichen, für Jugendliche. Vom lokalen Jugendclub Spunk organisiert baut das MAOA auf die unermüdliche Arbeit und den Willen freiwilliger Helfer. Dabei liegen simple Interessen im Vordergrund, in erster Linie die Erweiterung des kulturellen Angebotes und die Erhaltung dieser Vielfalt. So deckt das Lineup ein weites musikalisches Spektrum, das ganze auf zwei Bühnen verteilt. Auch was die kulinarische Versorgung angeht bleiben keine Wünsche offen, es werden sogar hochwertige vegane Gerichte aufgetischt. Um die Prinzipien der Kommunikation und des gegenseitigen Austausches in der heutigen Jugendkultur zu etablieren, werden zahlreiche Info-, sowie Distro- und verschiedene Verkaufsstände das Angebot bereichern und abrunden.
Ach ja, das ganze ist dabei total erschwinglich!

The Alps. What a lovely idyll, shaped and defined by green grasslands and bearded mountain climbers. There's just one thing, we don't like clichés and stereotyped thinking.
Taking place nearby Schlanders, it's going to the seventh edition of Matscher Au Open Air.
What's special about this event, it is its background. It is a festival by young people for young people. Organized by the local youth organization Spunk relying on the hard work of volunteers.
Just few simple interests receive priority in all planning and action, to guarantee a wide spectrum when it comes to modern youth culture, be it the bands playing the two stages, the big variety of food, including delicious vegan dishes or the numerous info- and distrotables. Communication is the key.
Oh yeah, one last thing: It isn't that expensive!
