as our worlds collide.

Whispers of memories,

when you were at my side.

The wind grasps and steals,

like fate and time.

The snow covers and heals,

like that old worn out line.

But there is no spring,

for you and I.

No new beginning,

could come from a lie.

Forever winter,

in my heart and mind

Ice cold, indestructible,

Love no more will bind.

My eternal state,

much needed freedom and sleep.

Clear cold blue eyes,

that choose not to weep.

Winter most beautiful,

but cruel to the touch.
